Suggested by ALAN WALDERN
We are an enthusiastic group of photographers with a wide range of backgrounds, nationalities and photographic abilities and interests. Viewfinders membership is open to anyone with an interest in photography.
Information about the Viewfinders photography club can be found on www.viewfinders.be. We meet each month at the Swedish church near the Merode metro station – the next meetings are on 17th May and 7th June before a summer break. Our newsletters are publicly available on the website. In addition to meetings, we go on ad-hoc photo walks several times a year and have had two exhibitions since Christmas. The meetings are free to join but if someone wants to enter the competitions, attend walks or participate in exhibitions, they need to join at €30 per year.
Another suggestion would be the exhibition in Knokke by the English photographer Rankin. It is at the Scharpoord Cultuurcentrum which has a large car park and not too far from the railway station. It runs until 11 June.
